Can any body tell me how to mount a ntfs drive in linux without going through the kernal compilation ...
Can any one help me out with steps of kernal compilation in linux i am using redhat 7.2

Babar,
unfortunately, you can't mount NTFS with the stock redhat kernel as they (Redhat) think it's too unstable to go into their kernel. Anyway, you can read about compiling a kernel from the Kernel HOWTO at http://www.tldp.org/ or the Redhat guide at http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linu ... ernel.html
