1.For Watching divx, download and install the divx codec for linux:

http://download.divx.com/divx/divx4linu ... 428.tar.gz

(Once , u install the divx coded, you will be able to view divx movies and stuff thru your fav player like mplayer or xine in linux)

The folks at divx.com, have released only the divx codec yet, which integrates with an existing media player in ur linux.BUt the divx player is in alpha stage, and is not available yet.So just download and install the codec, and u will be able to view the divx files from mplayer or xine.

If u dont have mplayer or xine installed, then check this post:

2.For wine, goto www.winehq.com and download it from there.
You have two options. You can download and install sources, or u can download and install binaries.

Installing binaries (.rpm) is easier than installing sources which requires you to issue a series of lengthy make commands .So i recommend u to download and install wine in rpm format for redhat linux from:

http://winehq.com/?page=download

ONce u have downloaded the rpm then install it by:

rpm -i wine-YYYYMMDD-i386.rpm

enter the suitable filname that u have.

3.For kde, yes u can install kde in linux. In fact kde is included in redhat. When u install redhat linux, you have the option to install gnome or kde or even both.If you have installed both, you can easily switch beteen the two at any time.If you havent installed kde, do so from the linux cdrom.

I have answered ur questions in detail here, and i hope ur problem is solved.
