One thing is very confusing for me here... I guess you have a pool of VPN or internet IPs which u want on-line. I wonder what your routing table looks like.
I mean the extrnal network has to refer to only 1 IP. You can simply add static routes to route different IPs to different machines. why mess around with firewall when it is not needed?
