Need Help from ABC to XYZ of LINUX
SALAMz to all
im an old member of this forum but going to make 1st topic here.
After a long time i decided to move from windows to Linux and for this im greatfull to www.linuxpakistan.net its all bec of this forum.
now im gonna install RedHat 7.3 here at home and will need help of the experts from here and iam gonna start from ABC of Linux so please don't mind if i asked any stupid question in here.i will post 1st problem today night.
hope so ppl here will help me .....

there is nothing about ubuntu that prevents you from learning how to use "core linux" (whatever that is). sure, it sets stuff up for you nicely, but that doesn't mean ubuntu "hides" anything from you. you can still fiddle with the config files the same way.Saad Khan wrote:DO NOT use ubuntu, unless you are using it for desktop usage.

slackware is good for learning but it is for those who already know how to use Linux little bit
and he is asking about ABC
think if you are a newbie on linux ?
will you be able to fdisk on slackware ?
