LAMP/JAVA/.NET/Oracle Expertise Required

The veep of .Net Evangelist , Oracle DBAs, Java gurus and LAMP specialists here at Softflux Pakistan just pinged me to let you know we’re looking for a senior software engineer and that Java, .Net, Oracle or LAMP (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP) skills are a must. The person who takes this job will undoubtedly be providing some of the technical muscle Softflux needs to continue growing its R&D operation. According to the job description:

Softflux Pakistan’s BPO group is looking for a talented, enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer to lead the future development of Softflux Pakistan. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate an interest in emerging Web technologies, be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, and work well with our design. The successful candidate must thrive in a fast paced environment, and have a passion for providing a great user experience as well as technical challenges. Candidate must have at least 8 years professional programming experience. Fluency in related technologies is a must; proficiency in core architecture of related technology is a plus. Project Management skills, System Architect designing will be a big advantage, Fluency in oral and written English will be a bonus.

LAMP Specialist Qualifications:
Must be comfortable working with open source tools including Linux, UNIX and MySQL. Helpful Skills for LAMP candidate: AJAX, XML, XSL, Hypertext Transfer Protocol; Linux; PERL Utility; Solaris; MYSQL; PHP (depending upon the related technology skill set)

Oracle DBA Qualifications:
• Strong experience supporting mission critical relational databases
• Considerable experience and knowledge of Oracle 10g and “best practicesâ€
