Asterisk Configuration file /etc/zaptel.conf

Aslam-o-Alikum,
I am totally newbie in the world of Asterisk, I've installed it successfully and now there is phase of configuring, I want to know, Do we need to removes only comments (#) signs for example in of /etc/zaptel.conf
# "fxsks" :this is what I want to configure
# "fxols" : Channel(s) are signalled using FXO Loopstart protocol.
# "fxogs" : Channel(s) are signalled using FXO Groundstart protocol.
# "fxoks" : Channel(s) are signalled using FXO Koolstart protocol.

now to configure
fxsks=2
is the right one or do I need to includes # sign or double quotes
Please help thanks

Dear Numan,

You don't need to configure zatpel for Asterisk to run. Zaptel interfaces are the driver of translation devices like FXO, FXS. If you have the cards and required the translation check the link above.
