untar these codecs and place the files in /usr/lib/win32.
Watch out for the Manners Taliban!
Isn't it amazing how so many people can type "linuxpakistan.net" into their browsers but not "google.com"?

Assalam-o-Alaikum,
The totem package included in Fedora Core 6 uses gstreamer as its backend. You will need totem-xine package which uses xine as its backend. It is available here:
http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/6/i386/
To play wma and other additional formats you will also have to download the xine-lib-extras package. It should be available in Fedora Extras. it requires the package xine-lib already installed. It is also available in Fedora Extras.
After this you will be able to play almost any audio/video format in Totem Movie Player.

If you do not know where to find Fedora Extras, here is the address:
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/f ... /extras/6/
Choose the appropriate link for your architecture.
