Dear saad,

when we talk linux so that means we should ready for struggle, everything should work on linux but need effort and time while amsn will not take much time, kopete is usman preferred that is good in his sense, but main issue is all messengers are at one place and we can not use kopete like msn messsenger, because AMSN provides near about all facilities that nor pdigin provides and nor kopete provides, Pidgin issue is that if your internet got disturb so you pidgin is also disturb, sometimes it connects, some time you are connected with network but unable to send and recieve messages, that is my practical experience, while kopete i tried but seemd like a product that also same problems.

I am using AMSN that provides webcam and skins and other facilites while these things not provided by other messengers.

Noman Liaquat

The best solution for Azfar bhai depends upon his own needs. We have told him all the possible solutions. Now we should let him decide for himself which one is better for him.
Now let's try to solve his problem about updating Firefox.

It seems like Yahoo people do not care much about Linux.

why would they? how many linux users are out there, compared with windows users?

linux users can use http://webmessenger.yahoo.com/ anyway.
Watch out for the Manners Taliban!
Isn't it amazing how so many people can type "linuxpakistan.net" into their browsers but not "google.com"?
