Dear all,
I am having this problem on my Debian4....i get this mesg
run init: /sbin/init : Permission Denied
Kernel Panic - not syncing : Attemped to kill init
any help...i have tried it to fsck in rescue mode..but no luck....

Hi,
As the error says "Permission Denied", so you dont have sufficient rights. I dont have much experience on DEB, try to remount kernel with RO permissions. Go in rescue mode and check the permissions on files. Also edit the boot loader conf file.

Salam,
You can boot with init=/bin/bash, and then check if exec
bit on /sbin/init is ok. Also tt would be a file system corruption, so you need to take backup of your system before doing any thing.
