I want a script that monitor a following services:
* DNS - Port 53
* SMTP - Port 25
* FTP - Port 21
* HTTP - Port 80

the thing is, if you don't have a lot of time, you'll pick the first thing that looks like a good fit for your problem. what you won't do is post on a forum and wait anywhere between a few hours to a few days to get your solution. if you have the time to wait, you have the time to do it on your own.
look at telenor's posts. he doesn't ask for help solving problems, he wants people to solve his problems. he doesn't want to do the research, or to think, or to learn. most of the posts are phrased as "how to do <x>". the sad thing is, you can copy and paste his "how to do <x>" question into google and almost always find the best solution as the first link in the search results.

I had tried but i faced lot of problems with mod_snmp module for proftpd and after i left because i got busy with other work related stuff

In my opinion for free go for Cacti and for Paid go for HP OpenView (which is really Good)
