Hi all,

Did anybody tried worldcall evdo on ubuntu 9.10 ???

I m not able to get the device detected as i m not getting an entry in lsusb

you see that "google custom search" entry box at the top of the page? type "worldcall evdo" in it.
Watch out for the !
Isn't it amazing how so many people can type "linuxpakistan.net" into their browsers but not "google.com"?

what do you expect ubuntu users to do? go out and buy an evdo device to help you?

as the worldcall support is also not good

i still donno y its doing it

also tried the usb_modeswitch as well but still no success

am downloading the kernel source; so leme chk dat as well

done it

downloaded slax

installed it on usb

inserted the device

ejected the /dev/sr1

start kppp

use the /dev/ttyUSB0 as mode

and happy evdoingggggg :D
