hi

I am using fc10 for firewall. i am using squid for client logs. but i want logs without use of squid is there any option.

then try iptables log but that would be pain in your a$$.

You have to pass your traffic from any thing that can inspect and log it.

i want client browsing logs like ( squid access logs ) but i don't want to use squid. is there for alternative to squid.

dear as said by azfar, you have to use something from which clients data will go through so that it can be logged. otherwise, how will you know which client has requested what.

we can use ethernet bridge but how to take logs. any scripts or softwares. please guide me.

Tell me why dont you want to use squid logs.

On ethernet bridge you can setup Squid as TPROXY, by which squid will be totally invisible to clients.

I had used ntop for network statistics but I am not sure how much it will be helpful to you.
