Well seriously , tell us a bit more, like what distro are you using.
Cause if its redhat its quite easy.

The step is a simple option setting.

See if a package called Swat is installed, its a web-based config. for samba,

Have it installed and assuming that the samba services and swat are selected in the services section of /usr/sbin/setup ( run as root) then ...
you can open up a webbrowser and configure the options for samba, and there is an option there for primary domain controller.

Or you can edit the /etc/smb.conf file , probably just have to uncomment it out.

And one more thing, Don't Double Post! like you did, unless it was an honest mistake, but dont think it will help to get people to answer your question.
