Best Server

Post by ather_36 »

Salam
Try Red Hat Linux Advanced Server 2.1 for the Powerful and reliable server. It has so much new features Like Netdump,Clustering server,Best for Database specially Oracle 9i,New firewalling arptables. This server is for huge environment. In karachi many companies Like PARCO,Mashriq Bank are migrated windows to RH LINUX AS 2.1 and now many companies are thinking seriously for migrating Linux. So I, recommend u to make a server on RH Linux AS 2.1.

Dear zinux,
Salam,

Red Hat Advanced Server is not an OpenSource... as well as Suse. If you want to make normal server not an Hosting Server... I perfer you to use Red Hat Linux 9.0.... if you want to make your server like hosting server, shell hosting server then i prefer you to OpenBSD its also not free but if you can buy RHE then i prefer you to buy this one :) or if you want to do the same job with an OpenSource then try FreeBSD

Best Regards.
