Installtion of Modem

Dear Fellows,
Sir I have a modem with soundcom chip set It has also chipset of sound card. I want to use this modem on linux for my net use. when I install it in my Pc linux configure it but not complete installation. plz help me for solving this problem

for details of how your modem is supported, if it is not supported on there ( no drivers are found) Im afraid your stuck unless you can get a driver from someone else - (but usually anything that does get written ends up there)

MODEM Problem

Dear Sir,
I search drivers for sound com but not found. Now tell me that Can I use Lucent win modem on my linux OS. And also tell that how I configure it and how we check it it is working or not.

and you after installing the driver which matches your kernel
try kppp
or wvdial (wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf)
