Linux trend.

Salam,
I am using Linux since last 3 years on server side.People here in Pakistan normally use CentOS,Fedora or Red Hat for server side (rpm base family). The thing which i want to discuss is there only trend regarding to use red hat family product for server side !
There is Debian also which provide both Desktop and Server side(Rock Solid as well).It is totally free and has around 3800 packages too much stable.Why people not switch to Debian ? any logical issue or only trend or we have only Red Hat base trainers ?
