CdPlucDebian

Debian latest stable release is 3.1 r0a on 14 CDR. You can install it on P1 with 500Mb but will need more space if you want GUI and more application. If you want to use it for development base ( highly recomended ) then unless you have a very fast connection it is recommended to run a local mirror ( need min 10G partition) to help save your time. If you need to buy a new 40GB ( smallest size with warranty - we suggest 80 GB price difference is few hundered rupees only but capacity is double ) Hard Disk then do not order for CD, rather go for Debian pre-installed on Hard Disk. Some vendors in Karachi / Lahore are now offering Debian with a full local Mirror if you buy 40 / 80 Giga HD. Simply plug the Hard Disk and you have every thing you need on your LAN. It will cost you almost same ( they charge for installation ) but will save your time spent in installation and creating a local mirror. If you are interested then contact us for vendor contact details.
