For a start, you can view the file Readme.Patch-20091015
you should look under src directory for sgLog.c file, and replace the original file with the one extracted from patch.

Debian has a policy of keeping the packages sync with release of a debian distro release.. We don't add new packages to the old distro, instead the packages need to go through a whole process of peer review to get accepted into any tree. Once a Debian distro is released, its packages are frozen to t...

Can't you people live without double standards?

Giving a torrent link to pirate the copy and saying don't use pirated copy, is just like govt. saying,
"Smoking is hazardous for health"

It doesn't help.

Re: Losing Too Many Ticks!

unless you are running some mission critical application, this error can be ignored. anyhow, modprobe acpi-cpufreq should solve the problem. on newer systems Pentium 3 and higher, Time Stamp Counter (TSC) should never be used as source for cpu frequency controlling, however, this is something that i...

Hello,

This is a mishap on my behalf.
Apparently, I forgot to bundle vi in RC3.
This will be fixed in the next release.
For now, however you can use nano, or mcedit :)
both are quite easy to use text editors.

just replace vi with nano

e.g.
nano filename

or

mcedit filename
