Hi I am using Gentoo. I have downloaded openoffice 2 (beta) and its in .rpm form. I heard that openoffice can be installed on a non-rpm distro using rpm2targz but I dont know how to use rpm2targz and how can i install openoffice with its help? Hmm... didn't tried boot -s but selected Boot in Single User Mode, same thing happened except that it didn't showed the /etc/rc.conf line but directly went to
and stopped there. Again, pressing RETURN didn't helped.

freebsd: /etc/rc.conf syntax error
Asalaam-u-Alikum! When booting into freebsd I get this error: /etc/rc.conf: 40: Syntax error: Unterminated quoted string Enter full path name of shell or RETURN for /bin/sh: It hangs here and don't even boot in Single user mode.
