OSRC'S LAMP TRAINING

Dear All,

Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) is the entity within government
charged with the task of enhancing the exports of IT and IT enabled
services. Part of its mandate is to identify potential market
opportunities for the IT industry in the country

Open Source Resource Center (OSRC), a project of PSEB is going to
launch a series of training on LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL & PHP).
Training camps for LAMP will be held in Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore
and Karachi. These LAMP trainings are classified into four parts;

o Linux Training (5 days)
o PHP Training (3 days)
o Apache (2 days)
o MySQL (4 days)

OSRC invites applications from individuals, faculty members of
universities and companies interested in migration to Open Source
Software.
The objective is to train lecturers and lab administrators in public
and private sector higher education institutions to create a snowball
effect by teaching the trainers who will train their students in
return, or organizations willing to migrate to open source and
individuals who in their individual capacity can promote the cause.

Complete application forms should reach the undersigned no later than
3:00 PM on Monday, April 04, 2005. These trainings are free of cost.
