Firewall Script....

Post by mudasir »

AOA,

Dear LP Members,

I have made a Firewall Script. Download the Firewall Script from

http://www.mediafire.com/?4milupsy0tm

Then follow these Steps.

Before doing any thing Read the ReadMe file.

1. After Downloading untar the file by "tar -xvzf firewall.tar.gz"
2. Then goto the Firewall Directory "cd firewall"
3. Then run the install script "./install"
4. Enter All the Things Asked by the Install Script.
Please Dont run the Install Script again and again, If you miss something, Please Read the ReadMe file.

This script is Still a Beta Version, under testing..
Kind Regards

please don't use random websites for your scripts/code. use something that will last a long time, like google pages. if you have a google account, just go to http://pages.google.com/, create a "site", and you're done.

google is unlikely to die in a couple of years, or rearrange their pages, or do something silly like that. google also lets you upload all sorts of files -- text files, tar/zip files, etc. plus, the urls make sense, like http://mudasir.googlepages.com/firewall-1.tar.gz, instead of what you have up there.
Watch out for the Manners Taliban!
Isn't it amazing how so many people can type "linuxpakistan.net" into their browsers but not "google.com"?

AOA,

Dear nayyares,

This is a Firewall Script, doing MAC to IP Binding. Install script creates a .conf file /etc/firewall.conf and reads it and works on it.

This script is just a try from me  for those people who always ask to please tell us IPTABLES rules for GATEWAY....

Hope this scripts helps....
Kind Regards
