Configuration of smb.conf

I'm a newbie. I read that to configure file we have to uncomment the configuration lines in the file. But there are lot of comments sysmbol which one comment should be uncommeted?

# shows the comment .it depends wt u want to implement in the smb
well for the simplest configuration
open the smb.conf vi smb.conf
and in the start some where there is the domain or workgroup option , set that option accouding to ur doamin or workgroup name
and in the end of the file there a options related to the user, user rights, previalges,, edit them according to ur need

well i suggest u to have a linux book while u r doing the configuration
