Apache Web server

Dear All
Its long time since I came back to linupakistan with the hope that I will get more help from you guys out there.
I have Apache web(Httpd) server installed on site with OS SUN Solaris.
I would like to ask where I could find related documentation any link clues as I have tried to search the forum but never found any.

which version of apache is it? the docs are at http://httpd.apache.org/ -- under "documentation" on the left side of the page. i'm sure they're also installed somewhere on your system, perhaps somewhere in /usr/share.

Hello I am not aware how to check the installed version. and in the documentation as I check earlier was lot of technical issues discussed not for beginners like me.

type "/usr/sbin/httpd -V" (or wherever the httpd executable is located).

I am not aware how to check the installed version.

are you new at system administration?
